Notes and Action Items from Hall C Compton meeting: 5/20/2009

0. Next meeting, Tuesday May 26 - 1:30 pm.

1. Ernie is working on getting final release drawings for dipoles to Buckley systems.

2. Chris has worked out a way to add signatures digitally to MIT-Bates drawings.

3. Ernie will contact John Heckman about pumps before the end of the week.

4. Some discussion about dipole issues that came up during an external Qweak 
coordination meeting. In that meeting it was asserted by some Qweak collaborators that

1.) someone MUST visit Buckley systems before the dipole fabriaction is complete and
2.) we must purchase spare coils.

In our meeting, we re-iterated that the MOU for the Compton is between MIT-Bates and Hall C.
While the above requests from the Qweak collaboration will be considered, they are not binding.

5. Ernie and Chris will look at the Hall A cavity design in more detail this (last) week.

6. Since Jeff was present, some discussion of the electron detector ensued. Ernie
and Chris estimate it will be about 3 weeks before they are available to work on the
electron detector again (this also depends on concurrence from Karen).

7. A larger Hall C Compton meeting will be scheduled in late June. We want a meeting
apart from the main collaboration meeting in mid-July since people will be too distracted with the
readiness review. In late June, Hall A will be open, so Ernie and/or Chris can take a look
at their system, with enough time to potentially tweak the final Hall C design.
