Medical Physics Sessions: March 06, 2007

The Medical Physics Section (MED) of the National Society of Black Physicists is announcing three Medical Physics Sessions to be held during the 2007 American Physical Society annual March Meeting. This year APS's meeting will be located in the Denver Convention Center in Colorado on March 5-9, 2007. Two plenary sessions will present the underlying physics processes and tools used in radiation oncology departments and the role of minorities in Medical Physics, respectively. The third focus session will present the effects of radiation on biological systems and its importance for medical applications.
