The 2006 Medical Physics Section of NSBP will implement a novel concept that will focus on four major areas: Radiation Therapy, Diagnostic Imaging, Monte Carlo Simulation and a Medical Physics short course for students in Radiation Therapy. As in 2005, these topics will be covered during an all day long session.
Each area was selected to embrace the large inventory of Medical Physics topics. MED also strives to generate and stimulate a yearly event that will attract some of the best experts in this field. At the 2006 joint NSBP/NSHP conference, we anticipate a fairly large numbers of abstracts. Hence a more rigorous selection for oral and poster presentations.
We are looking forward in seeing you in San Jose for an enjoyable event.
