CLAS Drift Chamber Support Page

CLAS GAS

The CLAS (CEBAF Large Acceptance Spectrometer), located in Experimental
Hall B at TJNAF (Thomas Jefferson National Accelerator Facility), uses
large gas filled detectors. These detectors require a continuous supply
of pure gas to operate. The CLAS DC GAS and Cerenkov Gas systems deliver
this gas to the detectors.
