CLAS12 Region 2 Project - JLAB EEL Clean Room

Adding and Sealing the HV and Signal boards

Wire Wrapping the HV Busses

The above pics show the wire wrap on the first 2 R2 sectors.
This wire wrap does not match up with our DCHV segmentation plan.
We plan on having an 8 wire per HV conductor segmentation and must modify these.
The pics below show one way to do it.

Field layers are jumpered together in pairs at each end as shown.
Using this method results in small pieces of wire which must be managed carefully.
These bits of wire will cause HV problems if any are left behind.
Once all the busses are jumpered, they are cut in half creating the desired 8 wire long segment.
These 2 sectors will be the only ones with this scheme of wire wrap.

The remaining 4 R2 sectors will have a different style wire wrap.
The field wires will be wrapped in a "zig-zag" connecting the 2 layers together.
All CLAS12 chambers will have this "zig-zag" style bussing on the field pins.
The below diagrams detail the wire wrap scheme

The next chambers to be finished, R1S4 and R2 number 3, will use this scheme.
The Guard wire bus on R1 must be as shown in the diagram due to the small cell size.
The Guard wire scheme for R2 is oposite shown due to the close proximity to the PC board mounting.
The Guard wire scheme for R3 can be done either way due to the large cell spacing.
