• Updates on engine and replay.
• Report on electronic deadtime by Dave Gaskell. Conclusion is that for HMS electronic deadtime use formula EDT = 60/50*(gscaler(151)-gscaler(148))/gscaler(151) with gscaler(151) = hpre100 and gscaler(148) = hpre150. These are chosen since problems found with hpre50 and hpre200. For SOS does not matter which combination of scalers is used. Use formula 60/100*(gscaler(311)-gscaler(314))/gscaler(311) with gscaler(311) = spre100 and gscaler(314) = spre200.
• The charge and correction factors for all the runs are kept in a file summary_corrfac.dat in /group/BARYON/replay. This summary file was created by using the script make_summary.tcl in the same directory. To get info out the the summary file I wrote the script get_corrfac.tcl which extract info from the summary_corrfac.dat. The summary file has three lines at the beginning which describes the file. Then each line has the following:
