Short term Runplan
  1. Optics studies with 1h elastics singles. Leave spectrometer angles at present location.
  2. Use LH2 15cm target
  3. Hadron arm is in negative polarity for electrons. Set hadron momentum to 1.674 with sieve out.
    Set electron  momentum to 3.956  with sieve in.
  4. Do short run to check spectrometers out. The rate for hadron arm should be about 2 Hz at 40 uA.
    You should be able to see elastic. Electron should be able to see sieve pattern.
  5. Put in hadron sieve slit in . Need two hours of data.
  6. Next run is with 12C target in same conditions. Take two to three hours of data. Check if you see the sieve.
  7. Next is bringing the hadron dipole to zero for the polarity switch. This takes a while (1-2 hours).
    Call tech to come in about 1/2 hour before
  8. While hadron field is dropping do a target luminousity scan with the electron arm using elastics on 1H without sieve.
    Start with 1,2,5 ,10 ,20, 30, 40, 50 , increase by 10 until the max current.  Would like at least 50,000 counts.
    Keep run less than 30 min but at least 10min.
    Then do the same with 12C target.
  9. Next set up for thcm=155 ph=180 kinematics. Follow regular run plan.
