| The plots below shows the x-y distribution across the face of the Inner Calorimeter (IC) of hits/event and energy deposited/event for 3 IC-target distances (55cm, 65cm, 75cm). The simulation used 0.5 x 0.5 cm PbWO4 crystals. Note the maximum possible hits/event is 1, since we don't know if a crystal is hit more than once for a given event. Moller impacts were integrated over 1000 events. Event duration was 120 ns so instantaneous rate/crystal is given by multiplying z-scale of hits/event plot by 8.3 MHz. |
