Saclay Solenoid Geometry in GSIM

Fig. 1 - Side view of coil (SOL) and cryostat (CRY) volumes.  Target 60 mm downstream of solenoid center.

Fig. 2 - Low momentum protons exiting target.  Proton momentum range 0.2-0.4 Gev/c.  Angle range 60-80 degrees.  The lower momentum large angle protons are deflected by the solenoid field into the cryostat shielding.

Fig. 3 - Perspective view of inner calorimeter (red), solenoid/cryostat (blue), beam pipe and CLAS torus coils.

Fig. 4 - Perspective view of inner calorimeter (red), solenoid/cryostat (blue), beam pipe and CLAS torus coils.

Fig. 5 - Perspective view of solenoid/cryostat, inner calorimeter and beam pipe inside of CLAS torus coils.
