The accelerator crews and Hall C techs did really good job in helping to pre-install the electron arm. The Enge Split-Pole has been setup onto the platform. With all the good preparations ahead of time, the 65 tons magnet was lifted up and sat into position with all 12 screw poles line up in just one shot. The center of gravity was calculated correctly and is well within the platform area. It is safe to stay this way from now on until moving to the hall.
The system, including platform, Split-Pole, and Splitter magnet, are all fiducialized. The engineers and techs are confident that they believe now that transport and setup this system in Hall C is really easy and can be done quickly.
There are four selected photos taken during setting up the Split-Pole magnet onto its platform, shown as following.
