E89-009 Software Group Meeting

On Feb 13, 1999, the E89-009 software group held a meeting at Jefferson Lab. Some important issues regarding to software development were discussed, and names and dates to specific tasks were assigned.

A sample of CEBAF analyzer ( reply ) and a ntuple file will be put on E89-009 web, so that everyone in the software group can start to study the follow issue:

Time of flight study and calibration;
Aerogel cherenkov, its properties, cuts and efficiency;
Lucite cherenkov, its properties, cuts and efficiency;
Shower counter, its properties, cuts and efficiency;
Hodoscope , scalers, timing etc;
Gas cherenkove;
Optics.

As for the HNSS side, Hoston/Tohoku group will be responsible for the Hodoscope timing, the correlation between hodoscope and SSD, and SSD efficiency. Lunin from Hampton university will be responsible for the correlation between momentum and SSD position study. Liping Gan and Paul Gueye will take care of beam energy drift issue.

Reyad Sawafta will be the leader for software group.
