E98108 Online Analysis
Running
ESPACE online:
- Log on as adaq@adaql1
or adaq@adaql4 (NOT adaql2
which is being used for DAQ), password is written on the board ;
- Type goespace to go to the analysis directory;
- Type espace_kaon (or espace or espace_new --
they are linked together now) to run the E98108 version of ESPACE;
- To check detectors (both Left and Right arms):
- Type exec espace_kumac/e98108_det_espace (or just ek/det)
- Answer the questions (first event is 1, and 30,000 events would be good enough)
- The hbook file will be created in the hbook
directory
with the name e98108_det_[nrun].hbook
- From a PAW session type exec paw_kumac/e98108_det_paw
(There is not yet a comparable physics paw kumac.)
- From a PAW session, you can also execute the new panel Marius created by typing "exekaon"
- To run a physics analysis :
- Type espace_kaon
- Type exec kaon_kinXX where XX is the kinematics number
- Answer the questions (first event is 1, analyze the entire run)
- To estimate the kaon yield, add the file hbook/kaon_[nrun]
to the ntuple chain in chain_kin[##].kumac.
- If Pete or Marius have not been too lazy you can also execute cleanXX.kumac in paw instead.
- In paw, type, e.g., exec chain_kin[##] followed by hi/pl 3 and manually integrate the missing mass with the cursor.
- Look at the other histograms and in the ntuple for other items of interest
(Q2, W, etcetera).
Check
histograms against the reference ones (see folder in counting house):
- Run paw (command paw++) ;
- To check detectors in both arms :
Type exec paw_kumac/e98108_det_paw
and compare the
histograms with the reference ones.-
