		1. Property.

	This software is the property of CERN, European Laboratory for
Particle Physics, CH-1211 Geneva 23, Switzerland.


		2. Conditions of Use Outside CERN.

	The CERN's HPGL Viewer Program and documentation are provided
solely for the use of the organization to which they are distributed,
and may not be redistributed or reproduced without the express agreement
of CERN. The documentation gives information about authorship. The material
cannot be sold. CERN should be given credit in all references, library
documentation and publications based on the programs.

	Organization or persons interested in the conditions applicable to
the distribution of this software should make a request via e-mail addressed
to   Marcel.Mottier@cern.ch


		3. New features.

	Version 5.00 of Designer viewer has many new features in comparison
with version 4.00.

1. Version 5.00 has a special mouse using mode for distances measuring.
 
2. There are error indicator in the status bar and log file with detail
information about error or with file statistic information.
 
3. There is files tree for the navigation through your files and directories
and fast files visualization.
 
4. Lens window has scroll bars.
 
5. Mark up lets multiline text. You can set all parameters for mark up text in
new dialog window for options.
 
6. New dialog for options lets to save options settings in different
configuration files and open any of them at any time.
 
7. Version 5.00 understands up to 256 pens for files in HP-GL/2 format.
 
8. There is print dialog for Windows version.
 
9. There is scale factor for output files which you can set in new options
dialog.
 
10. There are new command line options for batch mode: you can add text to
drawing, you can link some files together, you can start viewer with predefined
zoom window, you can rotate drawing.

11. And many others small but nice features.
