Threshold Pi0 (E04-007) Databases:
The common DB for the Pi0 experiment can be found at the following location on the work disks. I have decided to put only the most recent version of the DB into
that directory in order to minimize the confusion with various versions.
/work/halla/e04007/disk1/DB
In order to use this DB please copy it to your own analysis directory if you are using your own computer for the data analysis. If you are using farm computers
it would be best to link it to your analysis directory, so that you will always
have the most recent version of the DB and you do not need to update it manually.
You can do that using the following command:
ln -s -t[your analysis directory] /work/halla/e04007/disk1/DB
You can also download the DB from this web site. Here I will keep all of the
old versions of the DB. This way you can also download an old one if you need it.
I will try to keep a record of all the changes that were made to the DB since
last modification.
Important:
For the normal analysis I would suggest you to use this DB. This way we can
easily compare our results and use the same root files. If you decide to perform some
changes to the DB it would be great if you could start with the most recent version
of the DB. If you have some new or corrected DB files that you think that should be added to the DB, please send then to me (miham@jlab.org) and I will include them to the DB. I would also like to ask you, that when you send me new DB files, please briefly describe your changes to the DB, so that I can update the log.
Notice:
Some of the changes made to the DB may demand a different/newer version of the
BigBite Library. Therefore I will always try to specify BigBiteLibrary that
this DB works with.

Changes made since last version:
I have compared various databases from Mitra, Khem, Miha and those from the run
period. I have found several changes that were made, especially by Khem. I decided
to include the majority of his changes to this DB. I have applied these changes to
the initial DB (20080402) that was used during the experiment:
1.) I have changed file db_BB.optics.dat with it's more recent version.
I have downloaded this file from the Jin Huang's homepage and I believe that it
includes the last version the parameters used in his analytical model for BigBite
optics.
2.) I have replaced files db_L.vdc.dat and db_R.vdc.dat with
the most recent ones. These files include the new Optics matrices for HRS spectrometers that were obtained by Ge Jin.
3.) I also replaced files db_urb.BPMA.dat, db_urb.BPMB.dat
and db_rb.raster.dat with Khem's. Vince suggested Khem to change the transformation
matrix elements for the BPMs to the values obtained by Coloumb Sum Rule People.
4.) Files db_L.s1.dat, db_L.s2.dat and db_BB.tp.dat
were also replaced. Khem says that he changed the time offsets for TDC channels in S1 and S2. For the BigBite he modified time offsets and did time walk corrections.
He also says that variables "BB.tp.e.LT" and "BB.tp.e.lthit_time" are not corrected for time walk, and that we should use BB.tp.e.hit_time (Lt+Rt) and BB.tp.e.hit_diff (Lt-Rt or Rt-Lt) instead, because they are corrected for the time walk.
This DB works with the official release of the BigBite Library. Unfortunately
it does not work with the Transversity library and it's clones.
Old Databases:
