Structure of the 3He Ground state wave function

MCEEP:

I still am working on my version of the MCEEP simulation for the (e,e'd) reaction. I am modifing MCEEP in a way, that it generates only kinematic variables and energy losses, but now cross-section. Then I make ntuples of these events and import them to ROOT. At that point I again inspect each event and assigned it with the correct C-S, using Golaks calculations. With properly weighted events I then create root histograms.

Results from last time:

Last time I showed you very strange results of my modified MCEEP simulation. The problem was, that cross section did not decrease with pmiss and also the asymmetry had opposite sign.

The problem was, that in my CS calculations I used by mistake the PWIA calculations instead of the FULL Golaks calculations. Now I corrected the mistake and results make more sense.

Comparison With Data:

I compared the simulated cross-section with the data. The simulation also considers very simple BB model (only in horizontal direction), to additionally limit events. I also added the energy-losses to the simulation, using my code, that relates particle momentum to the average values in the E/dE ADCs.

To do that, I developed a script, that transforms the MCEEP results to a ROOT files, that mimics the real data, with all the variables. This allows me to use a single analysis script to analyze both data and simulation. Using relative normalization (same integrals), the comparison gives following results:

When I compare the simulation with theory, considering also the true luminosity, the simulation cross-section is ~4times too big, regardless of the MCEEP statistics:
