3He(e,e'd) Asymmetries

Longitudinal Proton asymmetries (from last week):

1.) 2.)

RootFile Analysis problems:

I am analyzing my raw data files on FARM. Then I transfer root files to my home computer, where I do my asymmetry calculation. In the beginning everything was working fine. However, at one point I began to get strange errors. Here is a usual error message:
R__unzip: error -3 in inflate (zlib)

The funny thing is, that I do not get this error for all the runs. Only some return it. I also realized, that for a single run, it is not necessary, that this error always occurs. For instance: I was inspecting run #2483. I checked it several times, and it always crashed at the same place. At this point I was always using the same script. To better locate the problem, I wrote a simpler script (which just reads root file and returns event numbers), and realized that problematic runs works there. Therefore, I returned to my primary script, which suddenly started to work. This happened more than once, and I simply can not understand what is happening.

I also went one step back, and analyzed raw data files on FARM once more.I checked log files, and these data were successfully analyzed without any error. They also have exact the same size as the "new" root files. First it seemed, that with these "new" root files, I do not have problems any more. However, I later I realized, that problem persists. I also installed the latest version of root 5.30. This also did not help.

I do not know how to solve this problem!

Transverse Proton asymmetries Problem

When analyzing data, I realized, that with GoodEvent = 1 and GoodEvent=2 particles I do not get same results for the Transverse asymmetry, while things worked perfectly with Longitudinal data.

Is this a problem?

3.) 4.)

5.) 6.)

7.)

Transverse Proton asymmetries as function of BB momentum

Here I get nice results for the asymmetry. I get consistent result for both types of events (1,2):

Transverse (-):

Strong angular dependence?

15.) 16.)

This kind of behaviour talks in favour of a fact that asymmetry has a strong angular dependence.

To-Do: Elastic proton asymmetry.
