Stan's Working directory of solidworks files as of
December 2004 (stan_2004_dec.tar 67 MB)
Differs from Summer 2004 in the following ways:
- "Cross" bars added to each octant at small radius on
DOWNSTREAM side.
This leaves ~9 inches between these bars and the envelope of the
elastically scattered beam as defined with the Boston collimator.
Note also that there are ~ 4 inches between the envelope of the
elastically scattered beam (as defined with the Boston collimator) and
the spokes on the downstream side of the support frame.
- On the UPSTREAM side of the support frame there are 2.72 inches
between the scattered beam envelope and the outer radius of the inner
ring, and 1.11 inches between the beam envelope and the spokes --
as defined by the Boston collimator.
Small plates have been added that will sandwich part of the coils
to help hold them in place -- there are only 1.47 inches between the
beam envelope and these plates on the most upstream end. Stan will
try to trim these plates on that upstream corner.
- 1.25 inch plate holders have been added to both sides of the
upper half of each coil-holder. There does not appear to be any
interference with these.
Still to be added:
- Pb wedges between each coil near the beamline.
- Coil installation fixtures.
