LGD shower resolution

The energy and spatial resolution in the LGD are measured using 2-shower invariant mass distributions from η to 2γ and π⁰ to 2γ The mass resolution of the η is mainly driven by the shower energy resolution while the width of the π⁰ has a large spatial resolution contribution. Simultaneous analysis of the π⁰ and η enables extraction of the parameters that describe both the shower energy and spatial resolution of the LGD.
