H2(e,e'p) elastic

  For a beam energy of 3.245 GeV set the spectrometers to:
  Momentum (GeV/c) Angle (degree) Trigger Collimator Prescaling
HMS -2.588 22.08 e--PID pion PS1=
SOS +1.290 48.97 3/4 no PID large PS2=
Follow the proper prodecures for setting the magnets (if not done yet):
  • HMS current&field settings: 

    •      reinhold@jlabs2> ~cdaq/FIELD/field99
     Input HMS momentum in GeV, electron is negative.
    -2.588
     Set current for Q1 =     336.11400899586 amps
     Set current for Q2 =    -267.20346621152 amps
     Set current for Q3 =     131.33449344771 amps
     Set NMR for Dipole =   -0.70919920713578 Tesla

    Set HMS Quads 200 A above required setting and then go down to nominal setting

  • Degauss SOS for protons and then go up to nominal setting
  
  ~ 30 uA should be possible.  
  Adjust prescale factors to get high statistics singles for HMS and SOS with reasonable deadtime.  
Get ~100K coincidences  
Take one run with sieve slit in HMS.(~100K)
