Linux for Jefferson Lab Users - June 10, 1997

The annual Jefferson Lab Users Group Meeting and Workshop will be held this year on June 10-11, 1997 (just after Domingo Day). On the first day of the user group meeting (June 10), a mini workshop on Linux will held from 8:30AM til noon. A number of presentations will be made about how Linux is being used or will be used at the Jefferson Laboratory and similar labs.

The workshop is being co-chaired by Jeffrey Templon and Stephen Wood.

(Possible topics: PC Farms at Fermilab, a level 3 trigger with Linux, FNAL "Linux repository", and Sloan Digital Sky Survey)

11:45-12:15 Question and Answer period / Discussion

Ask questions of the ``experts.'' Discuss where users would like to see Linux usage/support going at the lab.
