Chamber

A recent picture of the new LaTech designed protoype is shown below. The GEM foils stack and top of the chamber have not been installed yet. Only the chamber frame, charge collector, and HV divider network are visible. The biggest change from the last prototype is the placement of the HV divider network inside the chamber.

Electronics

Searching for a readout solution which will work with larger GEM chambers.

Rotator

I will wait for a concrete decision on the space available to locate the GEM detector before ordering a replacement ring. The minimum space (in "Z") needed for the apparatus is 30 cm as shown in the design drawings
