Dear Garth,
Would it be possible that you look into the results of
these Heepcheck runs (perhaps together with Chuncheng),
checking that the delta spectra, Y, X' and Y' spectra
look fine for both spectrometers, and determining DeltaW,
E_m, and the p_m components?
Best wishes,
Henk
Mr. Eric Christy told me that The run 45222 and run 45223 are for HEEP
calibrartions with Psos of 1.2 GeV and 1.4 GeV respectively.
So the folllowing figures are from these two runs.
Fig.1 Delta, Xptar, Yptar,Ytar distribution of SOS at Psos=1.2 GeV. |
Fig.2 Delta, Xptar, Yptar,Ytar distribution of SOS at Psos=1.4 GeV. |
Fig.3 Delta, Xptar, Yptar,Ytar distribution of HMS at Psos=1.2 GeV. |
Fig.4 Delta, Xptar, Yptar,Ytar distribution of HMS at Psos=1.4 GeV. |
Fig.5 W, Emissing distribution at Psos=1.2 GeV. |
Fig.6 W, Emissing distribution at Psos=1.4 GeV. |
Fig.7 Pm,Pm_par, Pm_per, Pm_oop distribution at Psos=1.2 GeV. |
Fig.8 Pm,Pm_par, Pm_per, Pm_oop distribution at Psos=1.4 GeV. |
The Fig.8 is the hit map which confirms the above conclusion.
Fig.8 HMS DC wire map at Psos=1.4 GeV.(from run 45223). The same thing is true for SOS DC wire Map. |
And the following is the lovely email from Eric to Henk.
( See this is history.
That means some day I have ever worked together with these scientists.
I am surprised that no one has ever collected interesting mail or email
of Albert Einstain.
If I had had chance to be in the right age and right position to become
the assistant of Einstain, I would have collected every piece of his drafts
even in his garbage box. In that way, I can be much greater than I am now.
)
Runs 45222 and 45223 are junk. They were taken with Phms = Q^2 instead of
Phms = q.
