Tongtong Cao
Tongtong Cao joined Jefferson Lab in 2022 as a Hall B staff scientist. Tongtong got his B.S. in 2006 and M.S. in 2010 from University of Science and
Technology of China, and received his Ph.D. in 2016 from University of South Carolina. His doctoral thesis contributed on the JLab-Hall B g13a experiment
in 2011-2016. As a postdoctoral research associate, he worked at Hampton University for the J-PARC TREK-E36 experiment in 2016-2019, and worked at
University of New Hampshire for the HPS experiment in 2019-2022. He has authored over 30 papers published in refereed journals.
Current Responsibilities in Hall B:
- Development of event reconstruction algorithms and software for the CLAS12 experiment, especially for updates of forward tracking with drift chambers
and new resistive micro-well detector.
