SHMS parameters
  • SHMS central momentum: 2-11 GeV (-10% to +22% acceptance)   

  • SHMS scattering angle: 5.5-40 degrees   

  • Target length acceptance of 30cm at 90 degrees   

HMS parameters
  • HMS central momentum: 1-7.3 GeV (-9% to +9% acceptance)   

  • HMS scattering angle: 10.5-85 degrees   

  • Target length acceptance of 10cm at 90 degrees   

Minimum Opening Angle: 17.5 degrees (HMS at 12 degrees when SHMS at 5.5 degrees)
