1.  Confirmation of the non-magnetic material (relative magnetic permeability <= 1.01)
Casing & Track rail: Non-magnetic stainless steel
Balls: Silicon nitride ceramics
End plate: 316 stainless steel
End seal: Not applicable, as it is not equipped with the slide unit.
Under seal: Nitrile rubber without metal part
Ball retaining band: 304 stainless steel
Screw: XM7 stainless steel for the ones to fix all the parts for the casing and to mount the
track rail (screws to mount the slide unit are not included)
Grease fitting: Brass
Grease: Shell Alvania EP2
 
2.  End seal:  Cost of "304 stainless steel + Nitrile rubber" is extremely high, as it must be
made from scratch.  Therefore, the end seals will be completely eliminated from the slide
unit.  If you need it regardless of the cost, let us know.
 
3.  Capillary sleeve
We discussed about the subject to extend the maintenance interval but we are not able to
provide this product, as 316 stainless steel end plate that you require is not available.
 
4.  Assembly and disassembly
As we discussed about the subject, you need to have two 2 meter standard rails set 120 degree
apart (4 o'clock and 7 o'clock position) on a V-shape jig.  The 2 meter short cylinder must
always be on the jig during initial mounting processes and maintenance as well.
The two rails on the jig must be properly faced with the two non-magnetic rails in the 4.87
meter cylinder.
Any improper assembly may damage our products such as losing the ceramic balls.
 
5.  Very rough price information
The following is our very rough estimated price, as you requested it for your Tuesday meeting.
LWHT20C5R2000/A2 made of non-magnetic material (2 x 1 meter rail + 5 slide units) = Very rough
estimated price $35,000.
Please note that you need TWO sets.  Two 2 meter standard rails for the jig are not included in
this price.
 
The official price will be quoted after all of the necessary preparations have completed at our
plant.  Therefore, the accuracy of the above price is unknown.
