Welding Program

In accordance with DOE 10CFR851 (Worker Safety and Health Program), Jefferson Lab's Welding Program provides welding services to the lab community to support Accelerator and Physics operations and other lab initiatives. Services include:

  • Inspection of JLab's welding operations, including biennial welding equipment inspections.
  • Certification and documenting all JLab Qualified Welders and Weld Examiners per ASNT, ASME, and AWS welding codes.
  • Training and management of welding documentation
