Discussion

The meeting documented here was impromptu and concerned the formulation of a draft schedule for changing out the GaAs wafer during the January shutdown. It has been followed with off-line, informal discussions. Biallas is going to produce a "final" version of the schedule by tomorrow (24 Dec 98), and Bohn will post a copy in a prominent location outside the Mens' Room in the FEL Facility. The schedule driver is the rebuild of the cesiator, for which the time involved is a little uncertain. The Polarized Source Group is completely booked and cannot assist during this cycle. Resumption of electron-beam operations is projected to be 25 Jan 99.

Bohn will be away during 6-9 Jan 99, so the next meeting is scheduled for Monday, 4 Jan 99, as indicated above.
