Addenda/Errata to Previous Minutes

  • S. Benson reported that the momentum spread in last weeks minutes for the boundries on the PARMELA solution was wrong - The value is not 160 keV, but 92 keV.

  • We discussed what analog signals were needed in the MCC control room to commission the machine. The agreed upon signals are:

  • This total assumes some multiplexing in the rf and BLM system before they get to the AMS (not to be confused with the existing system).

  • We would like to have signals common to both buildings so that only one set of wires need to be put in the tunnel and ALL the operators can know what's going on at any given time.

  • We also want (and Kevin had planned for) an A/D in the equipment room of the MCC patched to the control console with a preexisting signal name for those "if only I had ... in EPICS" signals.
