ICFA Workshop on Future Light Sources
March 5-9, 2012
Thomas Jefferson National Accelerator Facility
Newport News, VA
Facility Poster Session
Each group attending the workshop is encouraged to bring a “Facility Poster” which will be displayed throughout the workshop in a central location. These are intended to be a summary of current capabilities, so that workshop attendees may have a reference and assess the state-of-the-art. This will show the present facilities we are trying to improve upon. If a group has a proposed facility and good estimates of the expected performance are available, a poster of the proposed facility may be presented as well.
This is a workshop, and results of interest to each working group are best presented in that working group. Please address requests for such presentations to the conveners of the most relevant working group. Generally, the work should be presented in an oral session, and an abstract should be submitted. For this reason we are not having a general poster session as one would at a conference.
The poster dimensions may be up to 48 inches (1.2 meters) square, and should be displayed upon registration. The facilities poster should have a simple abstract submitted to JACOW via the abstract submission link. Groups are encouraged to submit a paper on their facilities poster. This will become part of the proceedings record.
