Lodging
The Williamsburg Hospitality House, which will serve as the meeting hotel, is highly rated and is located five minutes walk from Colonial Williamsburg and next door to several popular restaurants. It is also adjacent to the William & Mary campus. Wireless internet is available in all rooms for $9.95/day. The conference rate is $99/night plus taxes. For reservations at the conference rate, call 800-932-9192, and tell them you're attending the SESAPS physics conference. The deadline for obtaining the conference rate is October 10.
An alternative hotel is the Days Inn Downtown. Its conference rate is $59/night plus taxes. The Days Inn is located approximately three blocks from the Hospitality House — this is roughly a 4-5 minute walk. For reservations call either 757-229-5060 or 800-743-4883, and mention the SESAPS physics conference.
Meeting participants are expected to make their own hotel arrangements
Directions and Travel
Williamsburg is located just off I-64 in the Virginia Tidewater region between Richmond and Norfolk, and is served by three regional airports.
The closest airport, but smallest, is the Newport News airport (code PHF), which is located 20 miles from Williamsburg and 1 mile from Jlab. Limousine service from the airport to Williamsburg costs $22 one-way, $35 round-trip, plus gratuity. It is recommended that you call Williamsburg Limousine, Inc. at (757) 877-0279 for a reservation.
The Richmond airport (code RIC), which is 40 miles from Williamsburg and ~60 from Jlab, has many more flights. Call Groome Transportation (804) 222-7222 for limousine service. For single passengers, the fares are $40 one way; $71 round-trip to/from Williamsburg. For more than one passenger, the group-rate fare is $25 per person one-way.
The Norfolk airport (code ORF) is the largest, and is 60 miles from Williamsburg but closer to Jlab. Airport Express limo service charges for one person $69 one-way, and $133 round-trip. For each additional person, the extra charge is $10 one-way, and $20 round-trip. Call (757) 857-3991 for further information.

The Hospitality House does not provide shuttle service to the regional airports. Williamsburg is also served by Amtrak, which stops two blocks from The Williamsburg Hospitality House.
