A workshop, "Parton Distributions as a Bridge from Low to High Energies", will take place on November 8 and 9, in coordination with the CTEQ Fall meeting on Saturday, November 10, at Jefferson Lab.

This ~1.5-day workshop will focus on the coupled problem of determination of precise parton distribution functions and nonperturbative QCD contributions over a wide range of scattering energies and targets. We aim to address questions such as how can the new experiments envisioned for the high-luminosity LHC era, such as Jefferson Lab at 12 GeV, neutrino experiments at FNAL, and the Electron-Ion Collider, advance understanding of parton distribution functions and 3-dimensional structure of nucleons and nuclei, while also probing nonperturbative effects? What can be learned about QCD from a combination of high-energy and low-energy data? Which theoretical developments and theoretical tools will be necessary to interpret precise lepton-hadron scattering experiments in the near future?
