Exclusive Reactions at High Momentum Transfer
May 21-24, 2007
Jefferson Lab, Newport News, VA USA
Circular
The workshop will focus on the application of a variety of exclusive reactions at high momentum transfer, utilizing unpolarized and polarized beams and targets, to obtain information about nucleon ground state and excited state structure at short distances. This is a subject which is central to the programs of current accelerators and especially planned future facilities.
Topics include:
- Lattice QCD
- Generalized parton distributions (GPD)
- Generalized soft meson theorems
- Color Transparency
- Nucleon momentum and spin distributions
Reactions include:
- Semi inclusive transversity reactions
- Deeply virtual Compton Scattering and meson production
- High t Compton scattering and meson production
- Elastic and transition form factors
- Threshold meson production at high Q2
