October 28-29, 2010
Thomas Jefferson National Accelerator Facility
Newport News, VA
Announcement
We are holding a physics workshop at Jefferson Lab on October 28 and 29 in honor of Gary Goldstein's 70th Birthday to celebrate him and his many contributions to the fields of spin polarization phenomena, transversity, and heavy quark physics in QCD and hadronic physics.
The workshop will focus on several physics topics including;
- Transversity
- Transverse Momentum Dependent distributions
- Generalized Parton Distributions
- Regge Theory
- Heavy Quark and Top Quark Physics
- Exclusive Meson Production
- Fragmentation Functions
Organizing committee:
Leonard Gamberg (Penn State University Berks)
Simonetta Liuti (University of Virginia)
Alexei Prokudin (Jefferson Lab)
