By Air

Newport News is served by three nearby airports:

Williamsburg/Newport News (PHF) which is 4.4 miles (7 kms) from the Marriott.
Norfolk (ORF) which is 23.6 miles (40 kms) from the Marriott.
Richmond (RIC) which is 63.7 miles (103 kms) from the Marriott.

Please be aware that there is negligible public transportation from any of these airports. Shuttle or limousine services can readily be booked or cars rented (see below).

By Rail

Amtrak rail service runs from Washington DC (Union Station) to Newport News twice a day. The journey takes 4.5 hours. The Newport News station is 10 miles (16 kms) from the Marriott, and can be reached by taxi.

By Automobile

Mariott Newport News at City Center is easy to reach by car. Coming in on Interstate 64, take exit 256A and follow signs for Oyster Point Road West. Turn left in 0.6 mi onto Cannon Blvd. In 1.3 mi, turn right onto Town Center Drive.

Hampton Roads has several car rental agencies as well as new and used car dealerships. Make sure to check the Virginia DMV's website for rules and regulations concerning driving in Virginia.
