GPUs for Lattice QCD Workshop
August 19-21, 2009
Thomas Jefferson National Accelerator Facility
Newport News, Virginia USA

A workshop on GPUs for Lattice QDC will be held August 19-21, 2009 at Jefferson Lab. The topic of this workshop is the use of Graphical Processing Units (GPUs) as compute accelerators for Lattice QCD. This workshop is partly a USQCD collaboration topical meeting, but will also include experts from outside the field of LQCD. A targeted vendor tutorial is being developed for the first day. We use NDIVIA GPUs and their software development package CUDA.  During the last two days, there will be work-in-progress talks, as well as discussions of the current maturity of our software, and readiness to begin deploying GPUs at a large scale in an upcoming cluster here at JLab.

Organizing Committee:

Chip Watson (Jefferson Lab)
Jie Chen (Jefferson Lab)
Sandy Philpott (Jefferson Lab)
