We strongly encourage Conference participants to submit one page abstracts, as it will be posted on NAPP 2010 Web pages together with the final Program before a Conference start.


Submission of Abstracts

 

Please, provide an electronic version of your abstract by sending it as an e-mail attachment (Dr. Blazenka Melic, IRB, Zagreb melic@irb.hr, Subject: Abstract submission) using either Microsoft Word .rtf, Adobe .pdf or LaTex format. Please, DO NOT include the abstract/paper in a body of e-mail message.
The contribution will be reviewed by two members of the Organizing or Advisory Committees. Applicants will be notified on the acceptance by September 15, 2010. If an abstract/paper is not judged to be acceptable for Conference presentation, authors will have the option to withdraw their registration.


Instructions for Preparation of Abstracts

Abstracts are limited to one page and should be written in ENGLISH on A4 or letter size paper. For A4 size set margins to 2 cm left and right, 3 cm top and bottom. For letter size set margins to 0.75 inch left and right, 1 inch top and bottom. The body of the Abstract should present the rationale, methods, results, and a brief discussion with sufficient detail and clarity to allow judgment of their scientific soundness, importance, and relevance to physics.
Single spacing should be used throughout the text, with exception of one line space between the title and the authors names, between the names and address, and between the address and the text. When using abbreviations, use commonly known abbreviations only. Special or unusual abbreviations should come in brackets after the full word when it first appears in the text. Do not use separate section titles (e.g., Introduction, Theory, etc.) within the body.
All text should be in Times font with the following conventions: Title (16pt, bold, centered), Authors (14pt, bold, centered); Institutional Affiliations (12pt, centered, italics); institution, city, country, use 10pt numeric superscripts 1,2,3, etc. if necessary to indicate relationships between multiple authors and affiliations), Body (12pt, flush left and right); if necessary References (12 pt, number consecutively; indicate in text with square brackets as in this example [1]; list References as shown below, including full titles of papers, with capitalization of first word in title only). Please do not use font sizes smaller than suggested.
A figure or table may substantiate the results. They shall be self-explanatory and not substitute the description of the findings. Provide a legend no longer than one line. Only integrated drawings and figures within the abstract will be accepted.
