Workshop on Intersections of Nuclear Physics with Neutrinos and Electrons
May 4-5, 2006
Jefferson Lab, Newport News, VA
Circular
The goal of this workshop is to illuminate how neutrino and electron scattering physics complement each other in addressing nuclear physics topics.
A new generation of neutrino measurements will allow studies of nucleon and nuclear structure with unprecedented precision. Combining these results with present and future electron scattering results enables a new, more detailed insight into nucleon and nuclear structure.
Topics to be addressed include medium modifications to structure functions, hadronization, final state interactions, nuclear parton distribution functions, quark-hadron duality, fundamental symmetries, and nucleon form factor measurements.
The early registration deadline is April 7, 2006.
