Driving Directions to the D1 Parking Lot
- As shown on the map, the D1 lot is located between Rose Library and the Bioscience Building
- Enter Rose Library’s address into your GPS – 1251 Carrier Drive, Harrisonburg, VA 22807
- If you are coming from the hotels, you will approach the lot traveling west on Carrier Drive. Once you reach Rose Library, take the second left turn on to Alumni Drive, and the entrance to D1 will be on your right.
*If D1 fills up, overflow parking is available in lot D2. Turn left back on to Carrier Drive and the entrance to D2 will be on your right*
Directions from the D1 Parking Lot to the Montpelier Room (located in the East Campus Dining Hall)

- After parking, travel east on Carrier Drive toward Rose Library
- Proceed around the bend to the right and straight through the intersection
- Walk past the Festival Center and turn right at the sign for the East Campus Dining Hall
- The entrance is about 100 yards from Carrier Drive
- Once inside, take the stairs or elevator to the second floor and Montpelier Hall
*Please be aware that the walk is about 0.4 miles and will take approximately 8-10 minutes*
Accessible Parking
- There are accessible parking spaces in front of the East Campus Dining Hall
- Use this address for accessible parking at the workshop venue – 1681 Carrier Drive, Harrisonburg, VA
*There is no general parking at the workshop venue. All other visitors should proceed to lot D1 to park*
