302.07 Control of Sensitive Property
POLICY
- It is JSA/JLab policy that all sensitive property items be controlled. Sensitive items include all items, regardless of value,
that require special control and accountability due to unusual rates of loss, theft, or misuse or due to national security or
export control considerations. Items include, but are not limited to, weapons, ammunition, explosives, classified property or
records, information technology equipment and components with memory capability, cameras, and communications equipment or anything
else that JLab determines to need special control or is subject to unusual rates of loss, theft or misuse.
- Responsibilities
- The JLab Property Officer will develop and maintain a list of property, materials, and commodities considered
sensitive, taking into consideration value, costs of administration, need for control, and other factors that
management determines should apply.
