How do we get the electron beam from one accelerator to the other?

By using magnets. More than 2200 magnets, ranging in size from a few inches to a couple yards, and weighing as much as 5 TONS.

CEBAF uses 58 varieties of magnets not only to guide the electron beam, but to also focus and adjust it as it zips through the tunnel.
