Nucleon Electromagnetic Form Factors in Lattice QCD and Chiral Perturbation Theory Sergey Syritsyn MIT I will present a recent high-statistics calculation of nucleon electromagnetic form factors using lattice QCD with 2+1 flavors of dynamical domain wall quarks. This is the first calculation with (almost) chirally symmetric both sea and valence quark actions at pion masses down to m_pi=300MeV and at lattice spacing as small as a=0.084fm. Using specially tuned techniques to suppress gauge noise and excited state contaminations, we determine the nucleon form factors with a remarkable precision. I will also present the exrapolation of our results using two-flavor chiral perturbation theory and comparison to experiment
