Speaker: Matthias Burkardt (New Mexcio State University/Jefferson Lab) Title: Information Content of the DVCS Amplitude Abstract: Evaluating the Ji-relation requires knowledge of GPDs for fixed \xi at all values of x. Hadron tomography requires GPDs for \xi=0. The imaginary part of the DVCS amplitude is sensitive only to GPDs along the `diagonal' x=\xi. The real part provides access to kinematically inaccessible parts of the diagonal, as well as the D-form factor. Unfortunately, this is not the information that would be needed to (model independently) evaluate the Ji-relation or perform tomography. Possible options will be discussed.
