Extracting the resonance information with a dynamical coupled-channels model Hiroyuki Kamano JLab A continuous effort to explore the nature of N* states has been made in Excited Baryon Analysis Center by analyzing the world data of meson production reactions off the nucleon target. The analysis is pursued with a unitarized dynamical coupled-channels model, which takes account of couplings among relevant reaction channels in the energy region under the consideration. Once a reaction model is constructed by analyzing the reaction data, various information on the nucleon resonances, such as poles and decay vertices, can be extracted from the model. In this talk, I will explain how we make such an extraction practically and discuss a role played by the analytic structure of the scattering amplitudes on the complex energy plane in understanding the resonance properties.
