Experimental data has recently become available on the transverse target single-spin asymmetry (SSA) for inclusive DIS. I will present analytical and numerical results for this observable, which also have implications for the current extractions of the Qiu-Sterman function T_F(x,x) that arises in transverse SSAs from pp collisions. Possible resolutions to the so-called "sign-mismatch" crisis including a new calculation of the fragmentation contribution to the transverse SSA in pp collisions will also be explored. Moreover, extensive work has been done on the leading-twist (twist-2) double-longitudinal spin asymmetry A_LL. Here I will focus on the analysis of the longitudinal-transverse spin asymmetry A_LT for photon, hadron, and jet production from pp collisions. Furthermore, I will discuss how this observable could give insight into both the A_LL and transverse SSA domains.
