This talk will continue the discussion of the Schwinger-Dyson approach to strong coupling field theory begun on December 1st. Having seen how studying QED provides a guide to a consistent strong coupling truncation of the infinity of Schwinger-Dyson equations, we will focus on progress over the last three decades in QCD. Here most of the issues have not been solved. Nevertheless, this approach to strong coupling field theory naturally embraces quark masses from zero to top, naturally encodes chiral symmetry breaking and continuously connects asymptotic freedom to confinement.
