I will describe some of the methods of computing form factors on the lattice, focusing on two regimes: 
firstly the long-distance/low-momentum regime relevant for the calculation of the charge radius, 
and secondly the short-distance/high-momentum regime describing the approach to quark and gluonic degrees of freedom.
