I will present some aspects of two ongoing project dealing with TMD phenomenology. 
The first addresses the impact of TMD PDFs in W boson production, an example of the relevance of JLab physics for investigations at higher energies.
The second is related to the matching of TMD and collinear factorization, an important issue in connection with extractions of TMDs at JLab.
