The elastic and inelastic data of the differential cross section and analysing powers of scattering experiments with unpolarized and polarized beams of Li-7 with 34 MeV over an unpolarized target of C-12 was studied with the computational code Fresco of coupled reaction channel calculations using the rotational nuclear model. An explanation of the theoretical formalism and nuclear potentials used to fit the experimental data is presented. A most suitable description of the elastic differential cross section and new favourable adjustments of the three ranks of analysing powers of the elastic and inelastic reactions employing deformed volumetric and superficial Woods-Saxon potentials plus a spherical spin-orbit potential is presented.
