Theory Center Seminars - Information for Speakers

Reimbursement

To enable reimbursement:

• Non-US-Citizens: please bring your passport and visa documentation.
  [Permanent Residents: please bring your Permanent Resident Card and a government-issued picture ID (e.g. driving license).]
• US Citizens: please bring a government-issued ID (e.g. driving license or passport) with you.
• Please ask our secretary Mary Fox to book the accommodation, flight/train and airport transport for you. (Send her the dates of your visit and preferred flights if you have any. We can cover up to 72 hours of your stay here.) This will save unnecessary reimbursement trouble later on!
• Mary Fox will send you a tax form to complete and fax back to Sue Ewing at (757) 269-7003.
• You must also complete the JLab online visitor registration form at this link. (Note that, unless you've been told otherwise or you were invited by somebody else, your JLab Sponsor should be Jianwei Qiu; it should not be Alessandro, Andrea, or Bipasha.)

• The group here has a range of interests and includes some graduate students. Please try and make at least the first ~15 mins of your talk accessible to everybody.
• Please send us a confirmed title and abstract 4 weeks before your talk.

On-site Accommodation

If you haven't been to JLab since the beginning of 2007 and are staying in the on-site (SURA) Residence Facility, please take a few minutes to read the check-in guide. Please bring your reservation confirmation print out.
