Radiation Worker Glossary
Radiation Worker I training can now be taken as a proficiency test, in lieu of classroom training, plus the practical in the Rad Con Training Trailer, 52B. Proficiency testing (computer-based) is available on a walk-in basis at the User/International Liaison Office (U/I) during normal business hours, the Users Office in Cebaf Center, Room L111, and on a "call-ahead" basis at the Radcon office (52B). You must have read the self-study guide before taking the test in either office. The contact person is Becky Mosbrucker (7236). A Practical Factors session is also a part of the Radiation Worker I training. Practical factors are scheduled with Becky Mosbrucker (7236) or email at firstname.lastname@example.org. This part of the training may be scheduled by reaching Becky. We are still offering a full 8 hour course once per quarter, for those who still desire this type of training. Our schedule is shown under the Training Office monthly calendar link. Any questions, please call Becky Mosbrucker at ext. 7236.
